LSU Spring 2019 BSN

Published

Hello!

Are you applying this summer to LSU Traditional BSN-Spring 2019? If so, I hope this thread serves you as a fountain of information during this application period. I am sure many of you, like myself, are very excited and anxious for what's to come in the upcoming weeks/months, yet with so many questions to be answered. Please, if you have a concern or have something you might want to share about the application process or HESI, make yourself at home and don't be shy to share! I guarantee you there will always be more than one or two that will either have the same question or answer as you do. Good luck on the process, and I hope we all get accepted and start attending LSU SON Spring 2019! Geaux Tigers!

I want to do mine ASAP but I wont be able to do so until Thursday/Friday ughh. Also what are you wearing for the interview? Someone suggested to dress-up professionally, what do ya'll think? @theknittynurse, do you mind posting later on today on how did the interview go and perharps what kind of questions they asked?! I wanted to check yesterday, but I did not because I was afraid it will use up one my retake chances. Also, I remember reading you can only view questions as you go, rather than all at once. Good luck!

I actually just got back from TJMAXX and bought a little black & gold striped sweater (a little fancy) that I will wear a necklace with. Currently in Rhode Island, and had only t-shirts with me. So thought I should get something a little nice for the top so it would look somewhat professional in the video. Hopefully I wont be asked to stand up, if so Ill make another run for some dress slacks. Will fill with with how it went afterwards :)

I've only gotten to the first question. It is to choose a core value from the school of nursing and provide an example of how you implemented it. Also thanks for the tip on dressing professionally. It totally slipped my mind.

Got my time for the proctored essay: September 19 @ 12:30 :) Anyone else shooting for that time?

I scheduled mine for 1:30 on the 19th

I scheduled mine for 1:30 on September 19.

@theknittynurse me too! So not sure if everyone clicked on the link "Prospective Students" but it says attire should be professional or business casual (slacks and polo/blouse) is appropriate. Good luck everyone! Hope to meet some of you on Sept 19th if not till December in orientation!!!

Hey guys I scheduled my essay for the 18th at 11:00am. I am doing my interview tonight!

Is there anyone doing their interview tomorrow? I just got back late last night from Rhode Island. Today has been hectic. I should have probably done it while I was there, but crap happens. So now on the fence if I bust it out tonight, or do it first thing tomorrow morning? What do you guys think?

Heyyoo! I've applied for the Spring 2019 as well! I wanted to ask everyone's opinion on the online interview? How do y'all think it went?

I got mine done on Thursday night. It went well... Though on the second question about who your inspiration is, I clicked submit instead of retake, and have one not-so hot video. I am only human though. Other than that it was good, I over thought the entire interview the entire week, then at the end I just decided to be me, maintained professionalism to an extent, but really just showed who I was. How did it go for you? What did you think?

I have yet to complete mine. I wanted to see how everyone felt about it first! I more than likely will be submitting it today! I will keep you updated!
