Hello!

Are you applying this summer to LSU Traditional BSN-Spring 2019? If so, I hope this thread serves you as a fountain of information during this application period. I am sure many of you, like myself, are very excited and anxious for what's to come in the upcoming weeks/months, yet with so many questions to be answered. Please, if you have a concern or have something you might want to share about the application process or HESI, make yourself at home and don't be shy to share! I guarantee you there will always be more than one or two that will either have the same question or answer as you do. I can't wait to find out! I might not be the only one, but ever since the proctored essay I've been going to sleep and waking-up with some anxiety. Based on last year's forum, they were told they would start hearing from LSU on the week of Oct. 16th and they did on that exact day. I hope it is the same for us and start hearing from them as soon as Oct. 8th. The wait is killing me!!!

As I read through some of the older forums, it seems like a page and a half was good enough. Hopefully it is good enough because I also finished my paper with a page and a half as well. so yeah, fingers crossed.

I try to keep my mind occupied with other things and truly it works. Just think about it, if only 140 were eligible and around 110 get picked, we must be in that number since we have made it this far. Everyday I wake up I think about how I am in that 110 and I can't see my life going any other way. I really feel good about this and this anxiousness we are all feeling is good. Look at the new student info on the website and start planning for the semester to start in January. Get all of the paperwork together and make lots of copies of all documents needed. When you focus on that it really makes the time go by faster and before you know it, we will be getting those acceptance letters! Really two deep breaths and remind yourself that you are awesome!

From what I remember from our tour and proctored essay, the committee who makes the final decision meets today (October 8th). I think we should know by the end of the week. I am freaking out. I also only did a page and a half for the esaay, but I felt like it was a complete essay. So who knows? I am also nervous about my interview. I am strictly relying on my GPA and HESI scores. haha!

Yes, I emailed Ms. Gravolet and she confirmed that we should know something by the end of the week. I am so nervous now! I am relying on my interview and essay!I can't wait for this to be over!!

I was really hoping they would send out emails today. I guess I should stop refreshing my email every 5 minutes. :-)

I too was hoping that they magically sent out emails today and was constantly checking my email. Though she said we will hear something by the end of the week, I will probably still be obsessively checking my email. I feel good about having patiently waiting the past couple of weeks, but now that we are here in the last final week... well.... I....need... to...know!!!!

I've been patient up until today. My current classes and schedule have kept me busy, but now that this week is here...I ALSO NEED TO KNOW! Ahh. Y'all keep me posted on your emails.

I swear everytime I hear an email alert my BP goes up. I've been glued to my phone and by the looks of it, I'll continue to be all week long. I was also hoping we would've received those letters by today.

I think tomorrow is reasonable day to really start freaking out because it's 50/50 we not at the beginning of the week but we are not at the end either! OMG I can't take this!
