LSU Spring 2018 BSN

Published

Hi there! Im sure it's alittle early, seeing as the semester's not quite over, but I was wondering if there was anyone else out there applying to LSU SON Spring 2018 traditional BSN? I figured I'd start up a topic so we could have somewhere to network and help each other out. Has anyone else already taken the HESI? Or previously applied? I've already taken the HESI and scored pretty well but I'm so nervous and worried it still won't be enough since LSU is super competitive and this will be my first time applying to any nursing school. Does anyone know what the average scores/GPA that was accepted the past couple of entering classes? Any advice would be super helpful! Thanks!

Anyone know what they're wearing to the essay?

On the website it says professional/business casual. So I'll probably where heals and a nice dress or pencil skirt. They have a button for information on the proctored essay, on the prospective students page

Anyone know what they're wearing to the essay?

I have a cousin who is a senior at LSU Nursing and she suggested slacks and a blazer. I might wear a dress and a blazer though idk

hey do you mind sharing the topic I'm extremely nervous

THANKS!!!

Is anyone scheduled for the 29th at 2pm?????

I was re-reading the page posted on the website and they suggest dress pants and a blouse/polo so I guess that's what I'll be wearing lol

Yeah I have a friend in the program and she said she wore a nice shirt, slacks, and flats. Business casual isn't professional business, so I don't wa t to be too dressy, but I don't want to be underdressed either!! I'm going to be wearing a pair of trousers from Loft. I'm really over thinking this. í ½í¸£

Hey everyone! Ya'll ready for this week? I'm super nervous. It just crept up on me!!

I'm just anxious to know what I will be doing in January!

Right!? Hopefully we'll be getting ready for classes at lsu! Fingers crossed!

hopefully the topic isn't toooo crazy

From what I've heard from the info sessions and the last application period's thread, is that its a easy topic, they just want to make sure you can write. They said they've had numerous people get accepted in the past and when they start class they can't even form a complete sentence or compose a decent paragraph.

I can't wait for this week, y'all! I really wish we didn't have to wait till next month to find out the result. Good luck to all of you!

Does anybody happen to know what the first semester class schedule looks like? I know we all take the same courses and which courses we take the first semester. I'm talking about are students typically in class all week, Monday-Friday? I'm trying to figure out what to tell my boss at work about my schedule! I work in a hospital, so we work 12 hour shifts (good head start for nursing, I suppose!).
