LSU Spring 2018 BSN

Published

Hi there! Im sure it's alittle early, seeing as the semester's not quite over, but I was wondering if there was anyone else out there applying to LSU SON Spring 2018 traditional BSN? I figured I'd start up a topic so we could have somewhere to network and help each other out. Has anyone else already taken the HESI? Or previously applied? I've already taken the HESI and scored pretty well but I'm so nervous and worried it still won't be enough since LSU is super competitive and this will be my first time applying to any nursing school. Does anyone know what the average scores/GPA that was accepted the past couple of entering classes? Any advice would be super helpful! Thanks!

Hello everyone! I may be really out of place but I'm trying to apply for the Fall 2018 semester. I was attending LSU-BR last year for a software engineer degree but I switched my major and I came back to NOLA and now I'm finishing the rest of my pre reqs at Delgado. Does anyone think where we took our pre reqs will influence their decision? I've heard they are more likely to take LSU students but I only took English 1 at the BR campus.

They gave out the essay topic at the info sessions. When I get home tommorow I'll find the handout.

That would be amazing!! The only info session I attended was last year at LSU-BR and they didn't give us the essay topic.

I don't think it has any bearing at all.

that would be AHHHHHMAZING!!!!!!

Yesss please let us know!! :D

I think I'm going to end up talking about excellence for my core values topic. How did everyone else do on their interviews? I scheduled my essay for the 28th, anyone else super nervous?

I thought the interview went okay. I'm hoping I do really well on the essay though. I'm scheduled for the 28th too! At 11 am I'm pretty sure.

I am also scheduled on the 28th for 11 am!

Ohh that would be awesome!! Thank you!!

I'm going for 10 am. I have classes later in the day :(

I added up all of the random fees and it looks like the first semester is going to be about $1,000 not including tuition or textbooks or stethoscope. Does anyone have an idea how much we'll be spending??

Anyone know what they're wearing to the essay?
