LSU BSN

Hi everybody,

Im new to this site and could really use some advice. Im starting LSU traditional BSN program. Was wondering if anyone has any advice about what to expect and what I should do to prepare. Also if anyone is actually a student at LSU that would help or if they are starting in the Fall as well.

Whose* number and name, not who's! Blackberries and grammar don't mix hahaha, also, I think lsu will send you your lsu email/password once they get your confirmation..so be on the lookout for that.

ThAnk you scared88. I called today and they were no help. So I emailed the person listed in our acceptance letter. Thank you though! Did you mail off your confirmation fee/form yet?

The office told me there would be no email. I had asked about that ( because it said so in our letter) and she "corrected" me by saying the letter says nothing about an email and all there is for us to do is show up for the orientation/advising.

Yep, I mailed it off the day I got my letter last Thursday! I've filled out every one of the forms you have to print from the lsuhsc website, with the exception of having a physical done. I need to wait off a month or so b4 I have a physical. I even had my TB skin test done at my last day of work this weekend! Lol. I'm excited.

The folks who answer the phone up there are something else. I called last wednesday to verify if they had sent my letter to the correct address but wouldn't release that info bc they couldn't verifymy identity over the phone....sigh....lol.

I have yet to look at all the forms! I opened the files up but haven't had time to go through each one. I'm hoping to do all my shots( forgot which ones I did and did not do ) etc once finals are over. I have exams on top of exams. It feels great not having the stress of Having to get that perfect A anymore. Just let me pass and I'm doneeee!

I rewarded myself Thursday night by taking a break from my chaotic schedule, so I just filled it all out lol. It takes no time at all...just signatures and contact info for the most part. Ecology is ruining my life right now...all I need is a C and I'll graduate May 21!!! It's ridiculously difficult.

Has anyone else heard anything about acceptance letters?? I thought for sure I would get one and still no letter

I'm still waiting on a letter too! I know my letter has a lot farther to travel but I'd just like to know something!

I called yesterday a d the last batch of letters went out then... Don't know if they were acceptance or denial

Still no letter. I've pretty much given up. I thought for sure I'd get in this time. Now to completely change my life plan. :-(
