Unfortunately they do not, but I'm going to take it anyway. Thanks for the advice!

CPEN
Hi everyone! I'm looking for some advice on taking the CPEN Exam. I've been a nurse for 2 years and have worked in a pediatric emergency room the last year. I just passed the ENPC course and am considering taking the CPEN while the knowledge is still fresh. Has anyone recently taken the exam or does anyone have any tips or favorite study material recs they can share? Thanks so much!

I'm still waiting on a letter too! I know my letter has a lot farther to travel but I'd just like to know something!

LSU BSN
Hey guys! I just found this thread but I wish I had found it earlier to help with interview questions! Oh well! I hope we hear soon too; the website says within four weeks of admission examination but that didn't make any sense to me because I took the HESI way before I interviewed. Do people who interviewed in February have a better admission chance than people who interviewed in March, or does it not matter? Is anyone else from out of state? I also read that they rarely take out of state students but I am trying not to get discouraged!

questions about the HESI a2 for getting into LSU nursing
Thanks for the info guys! I just finished taking the HESI and I didn't think it was too bad. I thought the hardest section was anatomy; the other sections seemed pretty basic. The weird part was that the sections were not chosen for me. I had the option to take every section, so I did. I had plenty of time though. Good luck!

Comparing Nursing Schools in New Orleans
Ok so just to amend my previous post...after a little more searching I determined that Loyola only has an RN to BSN program which is not what I am looking for. So does anyone have any info on LSU HSC New Orleans or Our Lady of Holy Cross? Thanks!

Comparing Nursing Schools in New Orleans
Hello everyone! I am looking to transfer to a nursing school in New Orleans next fall but I am not from the area or even LA so I am not really sure which schools are highly rated and well liked. I am looking for a BSN program and have found some that seem good at LSU-HSC, Loyla, and Our Lady of Holy Cross. Does anyone have any information about these schools as far as accreditation, how students like the school, and job prospects after graduation? Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks!

questions about the HESI a2 for getting into LSU nursing
Hi Travis! This is my first post too. I am also taking the HESI A2 in a few days to apply to LSUHSC, and I had the same question. I am not from Louisiana so I am taking the test at a testing center near my house, and they told me on the phone I would have to choose which sections I wanted to take! I can't imagine that this is correct though, I am hoping that when I show up the sections will be already chosen and ready. However, only one person at LSU seems to be able to answer this question but I can never get a hold of him by phone either. Have you found anything out? If I reach him in the next few days I will post here. I actually was hoping you could answer a question for me. Did you fill out the transcript request form to get your transcripts? It looks important but when I called LSU, a secretary said I didn't have to do it. I was hoping for a second opinion. Thanks! -Kara
