LSU BSN

Hi everybody,

Im new to this site and could really use some advice. Im starting LSU traditional BSN program. Was wondering if anyone has any advice about what to expect and what I should do to prepare. Also if anyone is actually a student at LSU that would help or if they are starting in the Fall as well.

I'm in Baton Rouge at the main campus now but my mailing and home address are in Lakeview (New Orleans).

Looks like all the locals got letters today! Hopefully tomorrow ill get a letter..!

does anyone know what textbooks they're using next semester? i would really like to get myself familiar with physiology over the summer and stuff like that

Another day of waiting for the mailman to come. I'll try to refrain from attacking him if the letter doesn't come today.

Well my mail just came and no letter:crying2:

I live on the Northshore. I am now getting really nervous. Has anyone on the Northshore received their letter yet?????

I live in Slidell and haven't received a letter, but I know others who did. I was really confident I was going to get in but it's not looking promising.... I'll let you know if it comes today.

thanks. I know that last semester, I didn't receive my letter the first week, it was 3 weeks and it was because I didn't get in. I thought I might get in this round too...but not getting my letter by now is very discouraging

Well, no letter today either. I'm starting to lose hope. I thought I would definitely get in this semester. I was still taking prerequisites last semester (so I didn't get in). I'm done with prerequisites now, got a 92 on the HESI, have a 3.8 prerequisite gpa and a 3.7 overall gpa. I just don't understand.

I got in!!! and I got my letter yesterday. Congrats to everyone and for those still waiting BE PATIENT!!! It will come :)

Maybe they are mailed alphabetically like the interviewed were? My last name starts with an "S"

There shouldn't be any reason you didn't get in! You should definitely call up there and see whats up.

And I don't think there alphabetical, I know people with last names that start with A and O that got in....
