LPN to RN online

Published

Hi,

is anyone taking the LPN to RN online program with Exclesior? I'm planning on starting my RN program with them but was wondering how they conduct their clinical sessions.

I'd really appreciate any information about the program. Thank you

There's an entire section devoted to the school. Have you tried looking there?

As you have found the excelsior section you will find tons of useful information on the school and specifically the ADN program.

Going through the ADN program through excelsior requires no traditional clinical hours. You have to already be an LPN or Paramedic to be admitted to the program. Changes to the program now dictate that you have to be a working/practicing LPN/Medic to be admitted to the program. This pseudo serves your clinical experience.

Since excelsiors program isn't designed to teach, more or less, it is designed to test what you already no. A lot being self learned or through a lifetime of experience.

This program is the real deal and I am at the end of it. Just have to take the final CPNE test.

just took cpne in Atalanta using 22 ed. and we all failed. A waste of so much time and money. Please Don't gloat until you've passed. Oh by the way I tested with a couple of EMT's.

The 22nd has been off to a rough start, but I think we had quite a few people (9?) in various Facebook groups who passed. This was the first weekend that finally had some good news! Sorry it didn't go well for you. I hope you are successful on your next try.

I took excelsior and passed. I was in no rush finished everything in about 3 and a half years the wait time for the cpne was about 8 months and the test is no walk in the park but i passed my first time last April. good luck!!
