Test out

Hello are you able to test out of prerequisites at Excelsior college? Whats the best way to tackle this program in the shortest amount of time?

      I believe you can test out of your general ED classes.  I know that Excelsior did away with allowing people to test out of the nursing classes.. I graduated in 2021 and , fortunately for me, I was allowed to test out of the nursing classes.  Saved me a boat load of tuition money.  I plowed through them.  8 nursing classes and I tested out of every single one.  I scheduled my first nursing test challenge on say a Monday, found out my results then and there at the Pearson Vue center and then would schedule my next nursing challenger test for 7 days later.  Completed all the nursing test outs within 7 weeks.   I wouldn't recommend anyone try that.  But I was a 911 and critical care medic. for 24 years which gave me a huge leg up as far as subject comprehension.
