85 Questions

Nurses LPN/LVN

Published

I took the test today. It stopped at 85 questions. But it took me 2.5 hours to answer the questions. It seems like that many people pass with 85 but it took them 1-1.5 hours to finish. I am getting nervous.

I know its a slow time. HAS anybody pass with 85 questions taking that much time.

:o

Thanks for any comments....

I know that the number of questions don't mean anything, but if it helps you to feel better, I took the test Oct 13th, got 85 questions, I took about that amount of time and I passed. I am a slow test taker. I know while studying I kept making dumb mistakes because I would read the question wrong so I wanted to take extra precautions. I have felt nauseated all weekend, and was trying to make it until tomorrow to see my name on the FL Board website, but couldn't take it so paid the $7.95 to view my unofficial results on Pearson Vue. It is such a relief because I am also working on my MBA and one of my classes started today so I needed relief so I could concentrate on my new class.

My computer cut off at 87 questions and it was iffy. Another girl in my class the only one that has taken it thus far had the whole 205 questions and failed so the amount of questions doesnt mean anything. I felt that nursing school didnt prepare me well enough for the boards, b/c it has to cover so much you cant get in 1 yrs of PN or 2 yrs of ADN
