Hey guys! I know the application opened not too long ago and I just wanted to start this thread for everyone that is planning to or have already applied ? Hope to hear from everyone!
Hi everyone! I'm a Loyola graduate (undergrad, lit major ?) looking ot change careers from realtor to nurse hopefully Spring 2021 as well! I won't be joining you guys at LUC this time-- although I have nothing but good things to say about the teachers/experience I had during my undergrad there, just wanted a change--but I wanted to pop in and offer help to anyone moving from out of town that might be overwhelmed trying to find the right place to live in Chicago! I help with renting and buying, and especially with COVID now I'm happy to do video tours for anyone that might need a place right when they get here. Would love to meet some other aspiring nurses as well, I hear we're in for a wild ride with these accelerated programs ? Don't hesitate!
Hey everyone! I'm Marlie and Im from SoCal. I was a human development major and I'm applying for Spring 2021 as well! I am very excited but also nervous because nursing schools are competitive but I hope I end up getting accepted! I have family in Chicago so I am really excited to be applying.

I think it depends mainly on whether you prefer online learning or in-person learning. There is a good chance that in-person learning will be on hold the first or second semester of the program, but it seems plausible that in-person would return by the second half of the program. Your preferences would determine which program is better for you.
I personally prefer taking classes in person and meeting with classmates regularly, so I applied to the in-person Maywood campus. Maywood is also a bit closer to Chicago than Downer's Grove, though not by much.

Thanks for your reply! Just submitted my application for the Maywood campus ? Hope to see you there!

I just recently logged into the application portal and the application changed from application checklist to Admit checklist. There is a login username as well but no password. What does this mean?!
Hi! It means that you are admitted. Congrats! The same thing happened to me, and after a few hours I got my letter.

I submitted my application 09/08/2020 and I logged in this morning and saw that it changed to "admit checklist" along with the prereqs listed below it.

I don't see any letters, maybe I'll get an update tomorrow with the letter.

Hey,
I haven’t seen anything but I was wondering the same thing. Should we make one?
