Hard disagree that it's unreasonable for people to be reaching out. When your website says June 30th decisions, and you then move the deadline to mid-July, and then don't release decisions AND don't communicate to candidates and it's now pushing mid-August (a full MONTH later than their last official communication stated for decisions being released, which again was already delayed from their initial decision date) - you should absolutely expect people to reach out for clarification. For a top tier doctoral program, this is actually shocking and really poor form. I understand that they will have no shortage of people jumping to take their acceptances whenever they come, this is beyond inconsiderate to candidates who have lives outside of school they need to arrange and accommodate. My only point of agreement is that reaching out won't change anything. But frankly, the program should have sent out official communication about this delay. Really poor reflection on the program and makes me really think they've bitten off more than they can chew with the expanded cohort. And I would remind you that you don't have to reach out if you don't want to, nor do you have to follow this forum if you're bothered by others reaching out.

I would have assumed they'd think to send out an email with updates, given that multiple people have reached out and their own deadline has passed a while ago. My guess is they have no idea when they'll be done, but at this point who knows? I remain surprised that this level of delay and lack of communication is possible from an apparently top notch program.

Interesting, I've not yet received this email but I already interviewed. Multiple schools I applied to said they received a record number of interviews this cycle, so perhaps they want to interview everyone. At some point they just need to decide though, there are so many more qualified candidates than spots. Did they give update on timeline for decisions?

Does anyone remember how far students typically travel for clinical? I can't remember with certainty from the info sessions or interviews. I do remember being asked if I'd be willing to travel longer distances for clinical & I seem to remember sites being upwards of 1.5-2hr away - but I want to make sure I'm not making that up. Sounded like the cohort is growing and they're needing to catch up with clinical opportunities?
