Hey guys! I know the application opened not too long ago and I just wanted to start this thread for everyone that is planning to or have already applied ? Hope to hear from everyone!

Thanks everyone! I start the program at Downers Grove but I need advice on where to look for apartments. Anybody at the downers grove campus that has looked at apartments ? Or advice on where to look?

Hey, I’m going to the Downers grove campus as well. I actually flew into Illinois over the weekend and looked at apartments! I looked at places in Lombard, lisle and Wheaton.

Did the application open later for the Spring 2021 term? I'm waiting to apply to the Fall 2021 term and the application is opening late November this year which seems later than what it was last year ?

I got accepted to the ABSN program (hybrid) for the Winter 2021 start. Anyone else ? Jeeeez, that's a lot of money without giving us scholarships. Does anybody knows a nursing home/hospital/assisted living looking for nursing students for work and they pay for their school in return?

I got accepted to the ABSN program for the Spring 2021 semester (hybrid). The 56 or 57K dollars scare me. LOL. Does anyone know a nursing home, assisted living, or hospital willing to sign for a contract ? Did you guys get scholarships for the program ?

Me too! I already work in a hospital so I'm pretty much just transitioning fields.

Hi Lyssa,

Thanks for replying. Will the hospital pay for your tuition ? If they also have contract, let me know. I'm also a CNA, I worked in nursing home, and home health agencies. If you hospital offers contract, let me know.

Hi,

The way it works, it’s not a contract to pay full tuition. They do pay up to 5k a year based on your FTE status.
