how many in here feel that you don't have to miss up in order to lose you license or certificated? the reason why im asking this question is because i made some mistakes ok, plus ive been terminated four times in aroll with in a year. and yes i have been turn into the state. that is why im asking, do you feel or ever feel you don't have to make a mistake?
plus i choose not to dispute it.
will i willingly to admit that i was wrong for not following the care plan, im sorry that i did my own thing. because i understand that being a r.n.,lpn.cna we are dealing with people lives, if any of us makes a mistake it can cause someones life, i could never live with myself if i cause a life or injury. why do you think with my last post, where i said i really enjoy being a cna. ive also have work at a place where i only had less training and orientee. i did ask for more training, they did say they would give it to me, but they told me they didn't have time, so something did go wrong. so i go let go for that.
I hope you will forget being a CNA and find another field where you can still help people and do a good job. I'm sure you're a nice person, you just need to find a new line of work. I wish you well. Maybe your state has a vocational rehabilitation program where you can get some help to find a new line of work and get the training you need to make a good living. When you file for unemployment compensation, ask about Voc Rehab, too.

thank you gabie baby for the encouragement. ive been a cna for 27 years. got certified in california in 1980, and got recertified here in wisconsin since 2000. just by look at this that is all happen it makes me feel like a crimnal. i even told the attorney that has this case, that i don't have to make a mistake to get fired.

**Just curious, what does your attorney say about this situation?
what i did wrong on the last job i didn't follow the care plan. the last two i was working in a group home there was a client that had a ng-tube i got fire there because i refuse to help tube feed someone, where i wasn't train for or license. when the manager that fired me ask why i didn't help i told her i wasn't train or license, she told me either is she. and i know how dangers tube feeding can be if you make a mistake. this is what im taking about i don't have to do anything wrong to get fired or lose my cna.
::::Scratching head:::: There's definately more to this story. If you refuse to dispute it, whatever else you did was obvoiusly wrong to do and you did it anyway. I have a hard time believing that you got fired for refusing to do something you aren't trained to do and didn't file a grievance with the company who should KNOW what you can and can't do. XXXXX I have a hard time believing you've been a CNA for 27 years. I know there are a lot of facilities where people will do things outside their scope of practice because the company says it's ok. Why did you even stay in that environment and not report the wrong doings to the right people? Anonymous calls can be made to your state health department. That is probably why you were fired, they needed someone to take the blame for not doing something they know is wrong, when people in that facility do it all the time. And by law you are entitled to know why you were fired and have access to some of your employee file (not all.) So it sounds to me you were made the scapegoat, or they were looking for a reason to get rid of you.
im a certified nurses aide or should i say was. im going to admit that the last job i had i was wrong ok. and as for the last three i didn't do anything wrong. matter of fact i have ask why i was fired they refuse to answer me or send me a copy. by the way have any of you ever miss understood something in report?
Misunderstood something in report?? And you didn't ask for clarification? I am sooooo beginning to wonder about you and what you are trying to lead us to here. You don't sound legit.
I agree with you, lvn2bsoon.Misunderstood something in report?? And you didn't ask for clarification? I am sooooo beginning to wonder about you and what you are trying to lead us to here. You don't sound legit.
However, I'm too sleepy and lazy to dig any further dirt on this one. So I'll let it blow with the wind.

I went through a spell of this nature over 10 years ago. Yes, you can be terminated for no reason without messing up. The last DON that did it to me got me another job. She liked me, I moved on, the place she got me the job was at a resenditial school. It was hard work, BUT I loved the kids. I will be eternally grateful to that woman.
BUT, if you have been turned into the state that indicates to me that you have done something really wrong, whatever it was. That would be really unfortunate. One thing to lose a job, another to lose your license.
