Is there anyone else that was on that tiny list of students drawn in the lottery today? I was, and I'm so excited! :)
What do we do now, wait for something in the mail?
Angela did you call to ask them? I looked through everything I have and can't find where is says to mail in hard copies. With the exception of the Essential Functions form.
I can't remember the exact page but it was definitely in the packet. The form was dated from back in 2012 so maybe it's old, but I sent everything in just in case.
I followed the instructions from the cover letter in the packet and the only thing I saw that was to be mailed was the essential functions page, I think the only thing that said to mail was the physical form but I believe it was na old generic form, and we are to upload everything in immunitrax.
Hey there, no list is available, best way to get your book list is to go to your schedule page, provided you registered and scroll to the bottom and there is a link to bookstore and you just get a list for every class
There were a few books listed in our nursing packet that we were told to order before class starts
- Foundations of Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, 6th ed. (Varcarolis, Halter)
- Wong's Nursing Care of Infants and Children, 9th ed. (Hockenberry, Wilson)
- Pharmacology and the Nursing Process, 7th ed. (Lilley, Rainforth Collins, Snyder)
- Medical Surgical Nursing Assessment and Management of Clinical Problems, 8th ed. (Lewis, Derksen, Heitkemper, Bucher, Camera)
- Nursing Interventions & Clinical Skills, 5th ed. (Perry, Potter, Elkin)
You'll need the HESI RN assessment code/card too, but I'm not sure if you'll need the 2 yr. (my handout says 1 yr, but I may have received a different one since I'm 2nd yr) You can purchase these on the evolve website, Amazon, etc. You might want to verify this list with other students first!

Hmph. I must've got a different flyer cuz it doesn't say that anywhere on mine! Thx for the heads up. Did you already order your uniform/patches? I tracked down those old threads and must've been reading for over an hour! And any idea if we can wear our own scrubs on campus? Or only the required uniforms?
