Is there anyone else that was on that tiny list of students drawn in the lottery today? I was, and I'm so excited! :)

What do we do now, wait for something in the mail?

I WAS!!! So very excited! I left them i message because it says we are to take our TEAS on 6/3 but i just recently took them for another school i applied for and got a passing score. AND i currently live in Seattle so i am hoping they do not request for me to be there.

Yay! Congratulations on having your name drawn AND on passing your TEAS. You definitely don't need to take the TEAS again, you'll just send your scores to them. I took mine last year. I'm hopeful that something might show up in the mail tomorrow or in the next few days that will tell us what to do next.

Will you be relocating down here, or do you have other school offers that you might accept?

I did apply to a few others but im almost 100% going to go here. I am hoping they will give us all of the detail soon so I can work out my plan for re-locating.

congrats! Have you talked to anyone from the nursing office yet? I left a message yesterday evening, but have not heard anything yet.

Okay, I was just looking through the application handbook (available online) and it says we should receive an email within the next week that will have our Conditional Acceptance/Denial that we're supposed to send in to them. So make sure you check your school email or have it forwarded to your regular email address!

And Angela, it also says that you can only use your first score from the TEAS so you're all set. You'll just need to wait for the emails with more info about sending your scores electronically.

I think the order is: first we'll get an email asking if we are accepting the offer for this school (or not), then we probably need to print that out, sign it, and send it back, then after they've received it they'll send us all the other info about taking the test or sending our scores, and all the other info we'll need about background checks, etc.

I just find it weird that they have not sent us email but they are expecting us to be their next Tuesday to take the TEAS exam if we have not done so already, but i guess we will just wait until we hear something!

It is strange they aren't following what the handbook says. I haven't heard anything either, I keep checking the website I didn't make a mistake and I'm really in, but having no confirmation email for them, kind of worries me. Either way, I will be there on Tuesday and I will call them Monday to confirm where.

Yukyville I keep doing the same thing: checking and double-checking that that was really my ID # on the list. I feel really excited and impatient and I just wish they would've sent the email. I don't quite understand why they wait once the list has been published. BUT I was poking around on the school website and it says that the entire school is closed on Fridays. So that means that they haven't been in the office since the acceptance list was put up. That would explain why calls haven't been returned and emails haven't been sent I guess.

Yes, makes sense. I'm calling on Monday to find out where to report to take the TEAS :no: other than freaking out about taking the test, I'm sooo excited
