Hey guys!! Just wanted to start a thread for those applying to LMC for fall 2018! I am super nervous about the new system but am praying I get in! Please feel free to leave any questions or comments!!

Hello Tpez49, I also applied to LMC for fall 2018. I was wondering if you received any email confirmation because I did not. I only got a message displayed on the screen once I hit the submit button.

Hi 5AAB! We are in the same boat, I was hoping to see some type of confirmation too but I guess that green check mark is all we get! The handbook kind of eluded to that too... It sucks because it was really quick. I did however get signed copies of my transcripts and employment verification when I dropped those off.

I applied for Fall 2018' too. I haven't receive any e-mail or letter yet. It might take them maybe 8 weeks?

Looks like the on screen confirmation is the only one that we all received.

Did you guys apply to any other colleges?

It will be great to share stats/points so that we can know what the application pool looks like.

We still have few months to hear back.

I applied to Chabot and LMC so far and will be applying to Merritt and Delta and possibly Ohlone... What were your guys scores for the LMC app? Did any of you already take the Teas?

I haven't heard of Delta college. Is it in bay area?

I think I had 65 points for LMC excluding the TEAS. I took TEAS in January.

I hope more people start posting on this forum.

Hello,

I applied for LMC for fall 18 as well. I submitted my first application and got the check mark and thank you for applying. I was kinda worried that i didn't receive any confirmation. I decided to apply again, thinking it wouldn't hurt if i did. After i applied, i got an email to the INSITE email saying we have received your response for application for RN program. I know on the handbook it says to not call them regarding application status, but maybe you guys should? Good luck to you all and hopefully we'll be hearing good news soon.

I got nervous about your post because I didn't receive any email so I called the nursing dept (even though they say not to..lol) and she said it mustve been from applying to lmc because there were no "receipt emails". I didnt even give my name or id number and literally 5 minutes after getting off the phone I received my letter for verification that states im eligible for the pool. Did you guys get yours yet?

I was nervous too. I called them few days ago and they said we are not supposed to receive any receipt email.

When did you receive the letter for verification?

I received mine on Friday but I also applied as soon as it opened and hand carried my transcripts the same week. Im sure you will all get your email sometime this week. My husband is in the EMT program there and a speaker came by saying there was a total of 387 applicants so Im sure they are just going through all the applicants.

My stats werent great even with 4.0 in sciences and no retakes I only had 60 confirmed points. Im hoping its enough but not holding my breath and like I said it was just a verification they got the info not placement or anything.

Wow 387 applications! I sent my application near the deadline date, I am sure my confirmation will be coming around April, LOL.

Your points are great. I know how it is to maintain 4.0, good job .
