Hey, is there anyone who applied for Fall 2017 admission to LA County? Have you guys heard any news? has anyone called you? What are your thoughts?
But wait...I thought the maximum amount of points for lvn-rn is 33?
There are two types of LVN-RN programs they offer. One where you get a degree and one you do not.
The one you get your ADN is the same process as generic (maximum 94 points).
You up are talking about the non degree which is a maximum of 33 points.
That amount is what they have on their 'student selection page.' The cut off is approximately 78-82 points according to that page. So I would say you stand a good chance if you have above the cut off score. So if the minimum amount of points is 78 then that's for the generic applicants, too? Wow. So that means anyone with 78 points or more most likely got in?
Hello everyone :) Here I am still trying to figure out how many points I am applying with. I have a couple of questions: I took both Intro to Psych which Rio Hondo calls it Psych 101 and Lifespan Psych which Rio calls Psych 112. Which one is considered Psych 41 then? Then, what is the Humanities requirement? Which class(es) would that be? I was finally able to access my transcripts from Rio, yippee!

I called on Monday of this week. The person who takes care of processing the applications said that they are still working on them. They will not have a definite answer until May. She also told me they don't tell us how many points our applications got, we have to figure it out ourselves. Oh well, I need to get a hold of my transcripts from Rio Hondo.
