can u imagine if were this stressed just TRYING to get in the program imagine if we actually get in!!

I didn't know that they were sending it through e-mail? I was assuming regular mail. Hmm.. maybe I'll try calling tomorrow morning.

I love your story Iliana lol. I know what you mean, getting alert mails from this forum makes me just as nervous sometimes haha.

It makes me feel so much better that you guys are as freaked out as I am. I don't know if anyone on here has applied for the LVN bridge program like me, but on Monday it will be just two weeks until the start date, and I am planning to call them and just ask point blank if I got in or not. Even though I am scared to death they will change their minds and not let me in if I call. But seriously.. I have to give my job some notice if I did get in. This is getting ridiculous. My poor BF does not quite get why I am such a nutcase about this whole thing. I hope we all get in and can meet this fall!

Anyone apply for bridge, or all you all doing the two year program?

I think you should definitely call county! you said it starts in 2 weeks this monday! and trust me i thought the same thing about them not letting me in cuz i bug too much but really it comes down to a certain point cut off and if your there then theres nothing they can do even if they dont like you lol....right??

o ya... just called county.. for us two year programees they said they wont be sending out letters till July! i swear im gonna go craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazyy!!!!!!!!!

Well I called and got bad news. I did not get in. :crying2: She said that there are fewer spots open this year. And I had

83 points too. Keep in mind the points are different for LVN and for 2 year program.

But I recommend calling. She said that I should have gotten a letter, but I didn't. I dont think they sent one.

Wow im so sorry you didnt get in! I cant believe 83 points wasnt enough. But i guess because there were fewer spots for LVNs the point cutoff had to be higher. But on the brighter side you found out and now you can move forward onto your next step! Either way dont give up and dont get discouraged!!

p.s. i called county again today (yes i know psycho) but apparently this semester theyre only gonna accept 40 people for the 2yr program. 40 people! out of 400-500 applicants!! im soo worried!

What other schools do you recommend applying for? do you know of any that have a winter/spring start? I dont want to wait much longer to become an RN. I almost want to just fork out the money for one of the private schools like Everest. I sincerely hope you get in to County, and would appreciate any suggestions anyone has

83 points and you didn't get in? that's just wrong! :eek: perhaps if you signed up for the 2 years program instead of the lvn bridge program you would have gotten in.

sorry i dont know about the other programs.. in a stupid mistake.. i put all my eggs in one basket.. my one basket is county =[ so if i dont get in who knows what'll happen!
