Hey guys I'm new in this thing. I have a few questions. I applied for the Fall 2010 and still waiting for my reply.
1. After graduating from this school if ever, will I be able to transfer my credits so I can get a Bachelors degree (probably in csula since they rejected me haha) without any problem?
2. What is your opinion about this school compared to other AD Nursing school like PCC and GCC (I got my acceptance in GCC today).
3. Do you know any benefits from going to this school compared to other nursing school?
I want to make sure I'm making the right decision.
Hope someone can help me with these.
thank you!
Neil
Hey Neil!
First of all CONGRATS on GCC
and now to your questions..
1. Im sure you can transfer them out to another school for you BA. my sister graduated from county years back and is getting her BA now from CSULA so you should be fine
2. I heard that GCC was really really good to but difficult. And as for PCC i havent really looked into it much but im sure theres alot of people on these threads that can help you with more info on PCC. and considering county and GCC were the top two i wanted to go to, personally i didnt look much into others.
and 3 im sure everyone was their own opinions of what they like and dont like or what theyve heard from schools. i dont know of any specifics specifics like i said i really like GCC's program too so i think if you get accepted into county and GCC its a win win situation! =]
congrats again1! and if you dont mind me asking how many points do you have for countys program??
thanks again in advance!

Oh my gosh! Congratulations Neil!!! I didn't realize that Glendale Community College was sending out letters already.
I think Iliana explained it perfectly Everyone who graduates from the nursing program with their Associates will definitely be able to transfer for BA, so don't worry! You shouldn't being worrying, you should be celebrating!
My TEAS were around the 85-90 mark. Btw they only took 20 people + 5 alternates. So I REALLY REALLY got lucky
I haven't received anything from the county so I'm not sure what is my score. For some reason I'm leaning towards LA County if I get accepted there just because the USC medical hospital is right next to it.
Umm I got the letter 2 days ago. In the letter you are required to give them the letter of intent (which is attached to the acceptance letter)
When i went to the office to turn in my letter of intent, i saw the letter when she checked my name off. 1 page paper.
Supposedly we're going to start on june for summer session and I believe we'll be taking 2 intro classes

just google los angeles county nursing program and it will come up. Then look under apply I think. They go by points. Cost is about 9600 for two years.
