I've been out of town and barely received the letter today that I have my entrance exam scheduled this Saturday, 2/20 for LAC. Not sure if I can re-schedule but has anyone taken the entrance exam without reviewing any material? Could anyone tell me what type of material is tested on the math exam? Thanks!!

i took the entrance exam last september and passed with 13.5+ in all sections. i was soo worried cuz i hadn't studied much and hadn't done ANY KIND of math for 3+ years and as i said i did really well. My advice is study highschool exit exams. or at least thats what i felt it was like. Percentages, Fractions, Ratios, Word problems, etc. Everything else was pretty easy. Dont worry too much about it. And even then after i left i didnt feel EXCELLENT about how i did but apparently i did fine. :) GOODLUCK! -iliana

My boyfriend attended this nursing school for his RN and when he took his entrance exam, he used princeton review's SAT prep book and other SAT prep books. He said reading comprehension was the most difficult out of all three sections. BUT he scored very high on all the sections..

Does anyone know the attrition rate at County?

I got in and I only had 83 points. Definitely try. I didn't get all A's in the pre reqs and now I am in 4th semester about to graduate in May 27 , 2009 it can be done.

What was the retention rate at County? Did you loose a lot of students first semester? Did you ever have students transfer in from other ADN programs?
