Los Angeles County of Nursing - Fall 2014

This is for those of us that will be applying to LA county college of nursing and allied health's fall 2014 semester. I will be submitting my application for the basic RN program tomorrow... Yayyy!!! I am beyond excited, I can't believe this time has finally come!

I don't worry that much about this as before. I went over there and confirmed with them that they have everything from me and calculated points as I did. Just I want to be officially accepted so I can tell everyone, so I can start my summer, to visit my family across the ocean, to quit my job finally haaahaaaa.

Dragonfly, you don't need to worry, you will get accepted. You have probably the highest amount of points, it's just a matter of time!

I'm quitting my job too! I will give notice the end of next month. I plan on using my retirement to supplement my income. The first semester I do not plan on working at all, and depending in how I'm going g second semester, I will work as a cna part time.

Hello! Welcome! Let us know when you will get your letter! Did you calculate your points? Did u apply somewhere else?

Awww that's nice that you will be enjoying your summer before school starts. A summer full of relaxing before you start your sleepless nights...

You won't be working part time? I thought about quitting but I'm not sure... it would be nice to have some income during school.

I didn't have time to check the thread yesterday but it seems that it was pretty busy!

Dragonfly, if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much! You have 90 points which is pretty much a guaranteed spot but I know you won't feel it until you see the letter.

Since letters came out, we should be hearing soon.... :cat:
