Los Angeles County of Nursing - Fall 2014

This is for those of us that will be applying to LA county college of nursing and allied health's fall 2014 semester. I will be submitting my application for the basic RN program tomorrow... Yayyy!!! I am beyond excited, I can't believe this time has finally come!

Do u guys plan on working during nursing school , if yes, how many hours?

I am hoping to get as much in student loans as possible for the next two years and work as little as possible. I am not 100% sure of my schedule yet and won't know for a couple of weeks. Once I find out, I will know more about that situation. I would love nothing more to not work while in school! The more I can get in student loans, the better. I don't have any other debt right now (worked my butt off to pay everything off before the fall starts) so I will be fine with having student loans. What about you?

Sooooo....I just got news--- I'm accepted!!!!!!! I'm over the moon with joy right now. I give all the glory to God for opening these doors for me to walk in and start the journey He has laid out for me!!!! :)

Same thing, probably will take loans. I planned to work couple days a week... but I think better not to risk it. Also as u said, it all depends on school schedule.

Everyones experience will be different. For some it will be hard, for others, a little easier. Just depends on how we are feeling if we need to limit our hours or not, etc.

I hope I get some news soon! Congratulations to all those who are already in! Best wishes for all of us no matter we end up going!! I was wondering too if anyone else applied to lacc or pcc, I'm in lacc and I'm an alternate for pcc.
