I hope I get some news soon! Congratulations to all those who are already in! Best wishes for all of us no matter we end up going!! I was wondering too if anyone else applied to lacc or pcc, I'm in lacc and I'm an alternate for pcc.

I'm at alternate #44 for LACC . If I will get into County, which one will u choose, LACC or County?

Hello Everybody! I am new to the forum. I was so busy these past few months that I tucked away any thoughts of nursing school. I basically submitted my application, took my TEAS and went on with my life. Finally yesterday, as I was relaxing for the first time in months, I began to think about nursing school, realized I have not received anything from County and fear started to settle in. This thread put me a little bit at ease after reading all of your responses and frustrations. So I guess we are almost there right??? I hope I get a letter in the mail today because last night I could not sleep just thinking if I am going to be accepted or not. Anyone having a temporary bout of sleepless nights like me? :down: lol

I didn't have time to check the thread yesterday but it seems that it was pretty busy!

Dragonfly, if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much! You have 90 points which is pretty much a guaranteed spot but I know you won't feel it until you see the letter.

Since letters came out, we should be hearing soon.... :cat:

Thank you! I never confirmed it with them but I calculated 83-85 depending on which humanities they counted.

No sleepless nights... yet.

I agree: this thread really does help calm your nerves. It's nice that forums like these exist! Imagine having to deal with the waiting all on your own! Although we have friends and family to talk about it with, it's not the same as with people who understand exactly what you're going through.

Hello! Welcome! Lucky you that you had a chance to relax and stop thinking about nursing school))) . You started to think at the right time since they just started to notify students. Let us know when you will get your letter! Did you calculate your points? Did u apply somewhere else?

I don't worry that much about this as before. I went over there and confirmed with them that they have everything from me and calculated points as I did. Just I want to be officially accepted so I can tell everyone, so I can start my summer, to visit my family across the ocean, to quit my job finally haaahaaaa.
