This is for those of us that will be applying to LA county college of nursing and allied health's fall 2014 semester. I will be submitting my application for the basic RN program tomorrow... Yayyy!!! I am beyond excited, I can't believe this time has finally come!

I love this site for that very reason as well....My second favorite reason, is so my boyfriend won't have to hear about all the possibilities, requirements, deadlines, etc. I can use this site as my sound board and reason! HAHAHAHA.

I got in to COC on 4/15. I am keeping open to County JUST in case something falls through the cracks. We have so much to turn in by 5/29. Although I am over halfway through the list of items, you never know what might slip by me and then I am out! So, I still hope for the County acceptance just in case because we just really never know with the amount of paperwork going through the Allied Health Offices at these colleges. Gooooooood Luck to you!

Congratulations excited1 on getting into COC! Hopefully it all works out with requirements! It is daunting all the things that need to be done! Lol!

even though I have this site as my sound board I still bombard my husband with info about school stuff!! Lol! Just today I was going to say something to him and he said let me guess, it's about school? Lol!!!! But yes this site is great!!!!

Haha, I do that too. And my hubby patiently listens, poor thing :x3:. He knows everything about all the requirements, dates, deadlines, backup plans hihi.

LOL you girls are making me laugh. This, too, is an outlet for me. I bet that part of my boyfriend wants me to hear back from somewhere and get accepted but then he probably doesn't cause there's a possibility I might have to move... hahaha.

I hope all is well with you all as we continue to wait for County's decisions.

What are the total fees and do they have to be paid upfront or are they covered by financial aid? I have so many questions, but I guess I should wait until I get my acceptance letter ;)

I'm so sorry smylee I just saw this post right now! It says that tuition is $480 for the summer course and may be paid on the first day. All it says is financial aid info will be given on registration day.there is also ab administration fee due prior to start of fall semester of $125. Then there is the same cost and fee printout that was given at orientation. Please let me know if you have any other questions and hopefully I do not miss it again. :o

I totally get where you're coming from! I finally heard back from Chico State today and was placed on the alternate list.

I really hope you get accepted to your school of choice! :) Where did you apply to?
