Los Angeles County College of Nursing LVN-RN 2016

Published

Hello!

I will be applying for the Los Angeles County College of Nursing LVN-RN bridge program for summer 2016. I was wondering if there was anyone else applying for this program? Also, if any graduates from this program recommend the LVN-RN or generic route? I have 3.5 years of LVN experience. Thanks! I looks forward to the replies!

@joeaa let's wait for today and if neither one of us gets anything, we can call tomorrow. I told my bf that I was going to call the other day and he keeps insisting that something might arrive today if they sent out letters, the latest, Monday.

@jen30 sounds good to me. I will keep you posted. Prayers & good vibes your way!

@joeaa likewise! And sending prayers your way too!

I called on Tuesday to ask whether we would get a letter if we are accepted or rejected. ------------------ said "Yes, you will receive a status (accepted or rejected) letter regarding your application."

I was tempted to call again today, maybe tomorrow...

@lencd thanks for the info!!! I'm heading home now to check my mail. I'll keep you updated

Hey guys!! Just checking in. No letter in the main yesterday and still waiting for today. Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you guys know the max points are 33? I'm a bit confused....

Got my letter, registration on May 6.

@Jen30 Basic (Generic) and Advanced Placement LVN Option I - Overall Total Possible Points 94 copied from the County website

@nd1freke omg! You got it today??? Im waiting for my mailman to arrive. Congrats again! And my bad... I was looking at option 2. I'm so nervous!!!!!!

thanks, I got it today.

Still no letter:crying2: I'll check tomorrow. Any news anyone???

Congrats @nd1freke!

Still nothing on my end.. May 6th is a week from today, would they really wait last minute to notify us? I'll give it tomorrow & Monday but I've lost hope. :/

Don't lose hope. Mail delivery is different for some cities. Plus, we should be getting a letter regardless if it's a yay or nay. I asked about the average points and she said it tends to go down each year. If you don't mind, how many do you have?
