  1. @Gerti09 wow wow wow!!!! You just motivated me like 1000%! Thank you so much for posting to this thread:) I'm 35 years old and still working on my BSN. It's been my dream (since '06) to become a CRNA. After several years working in the hospice field, I put it aside and eventually the fire slowly burned away. Despite the fact, something in the back of my mind kept telling me to fulfill my dream. As of last year, I started working on my BSN. I am desperately trying to reach my goal! I'm so excited!!! Your comment has ignited my fire and I'm so happy to read of your success, even if I don't know you:yes: Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on this forum. Wishing you many more successes in life!!!!!
  2. I was just thinking of AllNurses and thought the same. Just waiting on Saturday:nailbiting:
  3. @joeaa we're just waiting on your letter... I'm praying everything works out in your favor. You should just call tomorrow and ask. You may have the same issue as I did; mail was in my neighbors box (they only visit during holidays). Let us know the outcome!!!
  4. @lencd Omg!!! Congrats!!!! So happy to read of your great news. You and I probably have similar letters. When I first read it I was like "Nnnnoooooo!!!" Lol! I wonder how many people are placed on wait list considering that there's only 25 LVN's accepted. I'm glad we found each other on here and I'm definitely looking forward to meeting you all! We should wear AllNurses.com badges so we know who is who hahaha!!!!
  5. Oh I see... Thought I was missing something. And same here! I've been in hospice since 2007. Skills are not utilized as much as you would use in an acute care setting. We'll manage though!
  6. @nd1freke thank you! Look forward to meeting you:) Hopefully not everyone shows up Lol! Does your packet includes the skills we need to know prior to our start date of transition class? My packet only includes the schedule and details on malpractice, uniforms, ect. But no specifics on skills
  7. @jserrano2113 hey there! Been reading your comments and I wanted to know if you ever gotback in
  8. Hey everyone! So I finally received my letter today. Looks like I'll be attending registration May 7 and joining the transition course this summer:up: I've been placed on a wait list though. I'm assuming if someone rejects acceptance or does not pass the transition course, then I'll move forth into 3rd semester this fall. The letter itself has me overwhelmed already! I guess I need to let it sink in. My letter must have arrived Friday because the mail man found it in my neighbors mail box. @joeaa @lencd what city are you guys in? I suggest calling Monday and asking if you have been accepted.
  9. @lencd I'm excited for ALL of us! If we get in, I hope we can continue motivating each other while in the program. This thread has given me some sanity during the "wait game"... Mail tomorrow!! It will be in our favor
  10. @nd1freke that's GREAT to know!!!!! Hopefully that's the case. Than you so much for the prayers!!!
  11. @joeaa I'm on the same boat; 77 pts. Missed the 5 pts on the teas. I've read other comments on different posts; back in 2010 it was 84 pt average. 2016 now? I'm sure you heard the school mention during information session or when I asked after the teas what the average was, they said 78. On the phone a couple weeks ago, the response was "it trends to go down more so". I believe you and I tested the same day. Let's keep our heads up! Tomorrow is a new day. Otherwise, Monday we're picking up our phones!!! Lol!!!
  12. Don't lose hope. Mail delivery is different for some cities. Plus, we should be getting a letter regardless if it's a yay or nay. I asked about the average points and she said it tends to go down each year. If you don't mind, how many do you have?
  13. Still no letter:crying2: I'll check tomorrow. Any news anyone???
  14. @nd1freke omg! You got it today??? Im waiting for my mailman to arrive. Congrats again! And my bad... I was looking at option 2. I'm so nervous!!!!!!
  15. Hey guys!! Just checking in. No letter in the main yesterday and still waiting for today. Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you guys know the max points are 33? I'm a bit confused....
