Hello!
I will be applying for the Los Angeles County College of Nursing LVN-RN bridge program for summer 2016. I was wondering if there was anyone else applying for this program? Also, if any graduates from this program recommend the LVN-RN or generic route? I have 3.5 years of LVN experience. Thanks! I looks forward to the replies!
@joeaa I'm on the same boat; 77 pts. Missed the 5 pts on the teas. I've read other comments on different posts; back in 2010 it was 84 pt average. 2016 now? I'm sure you heard the school mention during information session or when I asked after the teas what the average was, they said 78. On the phone a couple weeks ago, the response was "it trends to go down more so". I believe you and I tested the same day. Let's keep our heads up! Tomorrow is a new day. Otherwise, Monday we're picking up our phones!!! Lol!!!
Hey everyone! So I finally received my letter today. Looks like I'll be attending registration May 7 and joining the transition course this summer:up: I've been placed on a wait list though. I'm assuming if someone rejects acceptance or does not pass the transition course, then I'll move forth into 3rd semester this fall. The letter itself has me overwhelmed already! I guess I need to let it sink in. My letter must have arrived Friday because the mail man found it in my neighbors mail box.
@joeaa @lencd what city are you guys in? I suggest calling Monday and asking if you have been accepted.
@nd1freke thank you! Look forward to meeting you:) Hopefully not everyone shows up Lol! Does your packet includes the skills we need to know prior to our start date of transition class? My packet only includes the schedule and details on malpractice, uniforms, ect. But no specifics on skills

You should probably just call by Monday if you don't get a mail tomorrow.
