Looking for Nursing Experience Paid or Volunteer in Manila

Hi Guys!

I am currently out of the country and based in singapore and the nursing agency that I signed up with requires that I get some nursing experience paid or volunteer before the consul interview or else they will drop the petition. I just received recently my uscis approval and I know its still a long way to go.

I need your suggestion regarding hospitals in Manila or Singapore wherein I can apply and get some nursing experience with certification at least 3-6 months preferably OR, CCU or ER.

try manila doctors hospital along united nations avenue. i think they have a 4 month training programme that costs 5 thousand pesos (not sure). you are given a certification after the programme. phil heart center, lung center, and the kidney institute also have training programmes. not sure about the cost. sign up early as there is a waiting list. in addition, you should also have a score not lower than 80 in the local board exam.

For younger guys out there that is still looking for a nursing job try your luck at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital. They have openings for Staff Nurses, Trainees, and Volunteer Nurses alike. The sad thing is that they only accept applicants with an age limit of not more than 25 years old. Very very sad indeed specially for second coursers. Well good luck for those who will try! :D

It is located in "46 P. Sanchez St. Sta Mesa" if you're coming from Manila just take an FX going to Megamall either on Recto Ave or Magsaysay Ave. and ask the driver to drop you off Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Last time I checked they are still hiring but you may never know. Better hurry and give them a call. Goodluck!

Hi Echo. I just want to ask if when did you submit your application in Lourdes Hospital. What are their requirements? Did you pass your documents in HR Department or Nursing Office? Your response is greatly appreciated. :)

Nope. I'm already past the age limit. I personally called them twice to verify it and there is really an age limit requirement. Just want to share some info and hope it helps someone. As a fellow Nurse I feel for you guys. :yawn:

hello fellas.UST just opened slots for their MS training program.it costs 7500 inclusive of 2 mos. practicum --- 1 month MS, 1 month critical care.before exposure ther'll be 2 weeks didactic (documentation, assessemnt, EKG, critical care course).

REQTS are PRC, board rating, TOR, Resume, 1x1pic.:)

hi cathybedrio.no they don't.you just have to submit the requirements i mentioned and pay the required fee.and i am not workin there yet i just registered for the training program.no problem..my pleasure :D
