Hi Guys!
I am currently out of the country and based in singapore and the nursing agency that I signed up with requires that I get some nursing experience paid or volunteer before the consul interview or else they will drop the petition. I just received recently my uscis approval and I know its still a long way to go.
I need your suggestion regarding hospitals in Manila or Singapore wherein I can apply and get some nursing experience with certification at least 3-6 months preferably OR, CCU or ER.
Hope to hear from you guys!

The Airforce General Hospital inside Villamor Air Base offers a Training program for newly graduate nurses for FREE.
During my time, one has to pass an Exam, an interview and must also meet a certain scholastic average and board exam result.
They will give a certificate of attendance after a 3 month period...
Good Luck....
Trainings/ volunteer w/ training fee:
St. Luke's
Makati MEd
Lung Center
Delos Santos
Phil. Kidney Dialysis Foundation
NKTI
etc.
Recommendations for work xperience in a tertiary hosp.:
St Luke's
Makati Med
The Medical City
Cardinal Santos Med. cntr
Asian Hosp.
UST hospital
Chinese Gen.
Others (Heart Center, Lung Center, PGH, UERM)
etc.
there are a lot more good hosp's in MLA and QC area...Some give/ some don't give allowance during volunteer period.
Well, not everything in life is free...
Try Manila Doctors Hospital along United Nations Avenue. I think they have a 4 month training programme that costs 5 thousand pesos (not sure). You are given a certification after the programme. Phil Heart Center, Lung Center, and the Kidney Institute also have training programmes. Not sure about the cost. Sign up early as there is a waiting list. In addition, you should also have a score not lower than 80 in the local board exam.
so hospitals here give training program but ur going to pay them for that? will the certification help in applying for work in u.s.? this is new to me.thank you.
The nursing training in nkti is still ongoing. all you have to do is to pass the requirements - resume, tor, photocopied: recommendation letter from dean or employer, prc id, pna id, bls id, iv therapist id, 1 piece 1x1 and 2x2 pic. When you are qualified, you have to pay 1000 for initial payment. Once it is already done, come back to the required day to pass CXR results within 1-year period, proof of immunity for Hepatitis B within 6-month period and record of HPB vaccination. If you had already completed your vaccination, only the proof of immmunity will do. After you had finished it, you'll have to wait for your time to train. By the way, in terms of full payment, you can pay at least 2 weeks before the program. I had already applied few days ago last april 14, 2009. The slot available is the batch sept-dec2009. so hurry guys! if you're interested with their basic nursing skills training program, go to nkti asap!!! east ave, quezon city adjacent to lung center and beside quezon city hall. that's all
