Mr. Gapuz is registered in the State of Georgia.

hi, jesh!..welcome to the forum!..i will recommend GAPUZ REVIEW CENTER...take their comprehensive review...and do practice tests of Kaplan and Saunders...GUDLUCK!

Hi there Sheikha, may I know your basis why you're recommending this review center? Isn't it that you are the one who is currently appealing to NCSBN for the rescheduling of your NCLEX exam. So, you are not yet sure of what you are recommending.

Gapuz Review Center is at the center of all of the controversy in the Philippines with the NLE exam from June, 2006. And this is a well-known fact.

Gapuz has told his students over and over again that he holds licenses in NY, CA, and WA; yet he does not appear on any of their rosters as even having a license there.

CGFNS also has an entire page in their handbook concerning issues that have come out, and mainly around him. That page was not there before this entire scandal broke and then the issues around the NCLEX exam and CGFNS exam questions that he obtained under fraudulent means..........by making his students give him the questions after their exam............

Did you ever wonder why he requires that the student first complete one of his courses in Manila, and show proof of an ATT before he will permit him to do the review right before the exam in Hong Kong? If a nurse is that well prepared, and properly prepared, they should not even be reviewing right before the exam? And why he has to go with each group to Hong Kong? And why they are essentially paying for his trips there?

Wonder if we will now see a change in the pass rates there that he is out of the picture.

I think so..............

Mr. Gapuz is registered in the State of Georgia.

uhmm...if he is the same person listed in their license verification...his license is no longer active.

Exactly, they do not hold a current license in the US.............and that is with Georgia verification, not even sure if that is the same person, as many names are alike..................

Well, if you take the time to do a review an look for his name in the states where he claims to have a license, he does not exist on their rosters. You figure it out.

But with all of the issues surrounding him now, and someone wanting to do his review................they need to have a big red X on their foreheads. No one is going to touch anyone associated with him over here. Nor will he ever get a visa to come to the US, I am sure of that.

Is this true? =( I took the CGFNS just this september and i reviewed at gapuz. because i come from the province where there are no review centers, and because gapuz was the only one i was familiar with due to their advertisements on print, i enrolled myself in their review classes.

before the exam, we were handed out survey questions asking if we had enrolled in any review center, and if so, what review center. i answered yes and that i'd enrolled at gapuz. does this mean a big red X on me? :(

Nah. you took the review via Gapuz not knowing he was a fake ( if he ever was fake). it's not your fault that he was in that mess. I know some people who made it in the U.S. and they reviewed under mr. Gapuz. a survey is a survey. remember you don't have to answer all the questions next time. don't let this scandal worry you, since there are many things in life you have to worry about other than getting "X" on your forehead. Unless if they put a banner outside the U.S. embassy stating " ALL GAPUZ REVIEWEE WILL NOT, CANNOT EVER GET A U.S. VISA", then, that's the only time you will have a problem. otherwise, goodluck, continue studying and think Happy thoughts, okay? :nurse:

nurses' test retake plan put on hold

"the nbi is now trying to construct a listing to match those who enrolled in these review centers and the list of exam passers of the professional regulation commission," ermita said.

can an international organization also get access to the list of reviewees of a review center?

Thanks! :wink2: That means a lot to me. Now I can be more positive because I have less anxiety.

The Review Center themselves publishes all their enrollees that passed on the newspapers (full spreadsheet) and on their websites.

No use for them to pull it off their websites or from their records either because it's been published in the newspapers.

Newspapers always have an archive.

Their maybe some problems on getting to know those who enrolled w/ them but failed; but doesn't matter anyway because they failed.

YES. The international organization will going to hire a private investigator and most of the time they get more reliable information that the local government investigators. Why? Because of money. International organization has a better funding. More money... more information.

oops.

you're right.

I guess they can have a selective retake for the NLE given June 2006.

do they do the same for the CGFNS & NCLEX-RN exams? I mean publish the names of the passers?

just curious.
