Just wondering what is the longest anyone has had to wait for I-140 approval?

My history:

joined OGP june 2004

Job offer St Joes phoenix aug 2004

NCLEX pass march 2005

filed for I-140 may 2005

Still waiting:stone

Now I have been told it will be November at least before I travel to US:crying2:

I think I should be in the record books or is there someone out there with the same problem:imbar

has anyone got any news about i140?? gale??? topscot???

But I'm hoping against all hope that we don't have to spend another cold, awful winter here....wish me luck!

Ok-hope has run out- I guess I shouldn't have been so hasty to give away all those christmas decorations :lol2: because by the look of things, we will be enjoying one more lovely cold winter here. UGH

Spoke to OGP yesterday still no sign of my I-140, beginning to give up all hope:sniff:

According to OGP there is now a slow trickle of people receiving their I-140's, trickle:angryfire there should be a waterfall. So here we are still waiting.....and waiting......one day i will post like English nurse.

Good luck for the interview, English nurse, by the way- i believe if you decide to take the job u will be about an hour up the road from me, when i finally get there.

Will keep you up to date as always

According to another long waiter with OGP about 100 nurses are still having to wait for their I-140 and we are about to receive a letter from the managing director apologizing for the delay. Never mind the apology I say just get your finger out and get our I-140. After speaking to OGP the other day I don't hold much hope for April, I am sure we all deserve a gold medal for this wait.

It is just unbelievable the wait you and Collette have had, it's hard to imagine that you were only a few weeks after me with the NCLEX yet I am over here now for 4 months.

On Tuesday I received the letter from the managing director, dale miller apologising for the delay, explaining that it's procedural changes causing unforseen delays and that ogp is doing it's best and all that- the letter did alleviate some of the feelings of paranoia i've been experiencing- i just wish that they had thought of sending out something like this a lot earlier, instead of making us wait and wonder.

But apparently the approvals are filtering through because just one day after i got the apology letter, i got word from ogp that our phase 1 approval is here!! YIPPPEEE! :biggringi I can't quite believe it yet- i'm very excited/happy and very nervous as well...because now comes the next hurdle- where in the world are they going to (try) to send the family and me????? I'm even more nervous than i was before- but still happy that things are hopefully going to start moving along.

i'm crossing my fingers for the rest of you waiting, that the trickle of approvals will become a deluge and that you will be a part of it!
