Anyone applying?
@hcb5,
Here's what you do...take Pharm @ a different Lone Star location (who ever is offering it). Lone Star-Cy Fair will not let you take it at their campus. Why that is, I have no clue. That's just how they do things there. I was enrolled in Pharm this Fall (online) at Lone Star-Tomball (I think, or maybe Kingwood), but I had to drop it because I was approved to take Pharm at HCC. I chose HCC because if I pass the class and pass a Pharm Test then I'm eligible for the program. If things didn't work out at Lone Star then I had HCC as a back up. ALSO, i believe that Lone Star will accept my pharm class as well if things don't work out at HCC. Assuming that I pass the class. Hope this helps. :)
I have also applied for the program and I am VERY nervous. I know with the new sections on the HESI the director said that the cut-offs will be different this time. That they do not have any idea what it will be.
I am applying to Kingwood with a HESI score of 11.5396
I am very worried with this score.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE
It's all electronic anyway. The computer spits out the first 50 people with the highest score charts, and they notify us from there. Good Luck :)
How did you find this out? The reason I ask is because I had a professor tell me they then review applications and compare A & P and math scores as tie breakers for individuals near the cut off score. That is why it takes 6-8 wks to send out letters. So I am just wondering if my math and A&P score will carry any weight? I need all the help I can get! LOL
Okay Ladies and Gents (if there are some amoung us :)), I just left the campus after dropping off my application and she told me that acceptance letters and declination letters would go out at the end of September to early October. Its gonna be a long 4-5 weeks for us. Hang in there. Goodluck to everyone! And let me add its been a joy being on this forum with you all. Take care!

Go visit the nursing department in person. They will have your scores and can enter them in the system. It will help you to take your copy of the test so they can verify the date you took the test and find the stack of tests that have not been entered in the system.
