@katybusymom, I'm sure everything will turn out okay. Its probably just a formality they have to go through. Just stay on top of it so that they don't kick your paperwork to the side.

hello!! like everyone else on here i am an lsc nursing hopeful. i am hoping to be accepted into cy-fairs spring 2012 program. i'm very nervous, like a lot of you, because my score was only at 11.513. oh well we shall see. good luck everyone!!

Hi all~

I'm also applying for spring 2012 - to Cy-Fair. I am taking my Hesi on Tuesday (nothing like last minute!) I'm trying to figure out exactly what sections we are tested on. Also, the score that counts towards our final score is the English, correct? Does this consist of Reading, Vocab, and Grammar combined? The other two sections are Math and A&P? Just want to be prepared :)

Hcb5... believe you are correct.. english is calculated for the 12 points... and it also is grammar vocab and reading combined... you have to take grammar, reading, math, vocab and anatomy but you can also take additional sections.. I did biol and chem after I finished

Hey guys, I'm not sure if you guys know the answer or not and I'm going to call the nursing department to ask them - but just because they're closed at the moment, I was hoping to see if anyone knew the answer to my question!!

I have antibodies in my blood for HEPATITIS A&B and my doctor said that's all the proof I need in the place of getting the shots since I do not need them.. Is that accurate or is the department going to make me get the shots anyway even with the doctor's note?

@thehopeful a friend of mine just turned her application in on friday and she has the hep b antibodies as well. she just showed proof from her doctor and they said that fine. i was there with her and they said that was all she needed.

Well I have 11.61 and two other girls I know have 11.8.. and 11.2.. What about you? Oh and have you heard anything about the last application period cut off score? Just curious and nervous too.:):)
