Anyone applying?

CAN ANYONE HELP??? PLEEEEEASE!

I'm trying to submit my application, but I'm concerned because my HESI score does not come up on the score sheet. Is there anyone else having this problem??

I'm having problems too. I went to submit my application and 2 of my pre-req classes are missing from the score sheet.......so it only gave me two points, when I should have four points for that section. There is a BIG difference between a 9......and an 11...... !!!

when i submitted and printed my application it poped up this message:

1.) print and sign application

2.) print and sign score sheet ( don't turn in without hesi score)

3.) turn in hard copy of the following at the office of your first choice only

1.) the application

2.) the score sheet

3.) copy of evidence of status of hep b vaccination ( proof of first shot completed by application deadline)

4.) copy of "my unofficial transcript" from my lone star

5.) ferpa form ( available at http://www.lonestar.edu/14570.htm)

6.) if ged taken, copy of diploma or transcript required

well,,, my scored showed up after 1wk and a half later I took hesi...

Also, I think I read posts from last application period that some people turned in their printed copies of scores that they got after they have finished taking the exam to their first pick school.

@katybusymom...girl go talk to the nursing program. your courses should be up? unless you took this summer? hope you get it figured out soon, and don't stress because it is probabley a computer error?

@careangel? when did you take your hesi? My scores took about 4 days to post to the application, because the schools are so busy with everyone going back....it might take them a little bit longer to get your grades recorded. If you don't see them by a week and a half after you took hesi, i would suggest calling the school you took the hesi at and ask them what the problem is?

I took the HESI this past Monday (08/29/2011). I guess that's what the problem is. It's only been 2 days. I'll give it until Friday and if they don't show up by then, i'll have to make a call. I guess that's why they say to take the HESI a week prior to application deadline. Thanks a bunch beth5278!!! :)

Hello everyone! I also took my hesi on Monday and the school has received my transcripts but I am worried that they will not be evaluated in time for the deadline. I tried calling and emailing but no reply yet so I guess the next step is to make a trip up there. Is there anything they could really do about that???

When did you turn in your transcripts? I turned mine in some time ago but I remember that when I did I made sure to tell them that I was applying to the nursing program. I was also told to turn them in early because it would take 4-6 weeks to process. Keep checking (multiple x's a day) the student portal (myLoneStar) to see if they have been uploaded. You can also try speaking to someone at the school, but I don't think that's going to be much help since they're dealing with enrolling students and other things of that nature. It's worth a try. :)

@prayerful, Good luck girl!! Lonestar has lost my transcripts TWICE from the same school!!! My classes were just entered into the system yesterday and now they are giving me flack about my Microbiology class. I took it from The University of Texas @ Arlington, but since Lonestar doesn't have the exact same class, I have to go up there today and fill out a "substitution request". They are driving me nuts!!!

If you do go up there, be persistant, don't leave until you talk to the right person, even if it takes ALL day.

ps. The nursing department is zero help. They won't even talk to you.
