  1. :yeah:oh god is listening alright...strict instructions were given...judge not lest you be judged! aka whatever judgement you pass on others will come back to haunt you. call it karma, fate, or just plain never say never but come back to bite your booty!! btw, i speak from personal experience on the above matter! lol
  2. You look also look in Lufkin - it's about 1hr drive but they are a level 1 trauma center for the region.

  5. :dncgbby: I got ACCEPTED at Kingwood!!! Woohoo, feels like I'm the most interesting woMAN in the world! Lol
  6. There is also Instruction by Masters. It's in the westchase area http://www.inbymas.com/ and he does the class just about every Saturday and the cost is $65 but he sends you all the study material and he also does ACLS & PALS certs too! I had a friend who took the ACLS & PALS from and he highly recommends the instructor.
  7. KINGWOOD UPDATE!!!! I spoke with a friend who is currently in the nursing program and the reason our letters are taking so long is...one of the lead decision makers is very ill and has been so contagious that everything is having to be emailed back and forth. This has also strained the staff if the nursing department. So please say a prayer and know it's not an intentional lack of awareness or efficiency. I'm so happy for all the Cy-fair folks! I wish you all the best and I'm thankful that at least we (kingwooders) have an idea about the cutoff! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! *wine
  8. emily, what was your score?
  9. Was there a signature line or was it just as non-descript as you posted above? I guess what I'm asking is who was the sender? :nuke:
  10. Kingwood posted on their application deadline calendar that letters would be sent out in September....well today is the last day of September so hopefully we will start seeing them arrive at our homes!
  11. HAPPY LETTERS-SHOULD-BE-IN-THE-MAIL-FRIDAY and a little funny for our frazzled nerves! "The thing about quotes on the Internet is you cannot confirm their validity" -Abraham Lincoln :fnypst:
  12. I was told by a current nursing student Kingwood is taking 80 students...:grn:
  13. The guy...not you! LOL
  14. @lindalyn....one word...JACKASS! :angthts:
  15. I have a couple of girlfriends in the Kingwood program now and they got their letters the first week in October because they were mailed on the 29th/30th of September. Tick tock goes the insanity clock...:anbd:
