Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

All it said was that I could receive a call as late as the first day. I'm wondering if they will email or call?

They will call and email, but if you are not actively monitoring, you will be passed over.

Amberly27 I would still do everything just to be on the safe side. Like making sure you have your shots, get CPR certified because it lasts 2 years and all.

Oh yes I definitely am going to! I am very thankful for this alternate spot I just thought since my score was low I may be lower on the list. But I'm still going to take my chances!. Hopefully I get to see all of you guys next semester! That would be awesome!!

Got accepted into CyFair!! Can't wait to meet ya'll Dec. 4th! I am big on small study groups. I've learned they are the key to success! I don't study in the evenings because I'm a single mom. I am a little scared of clinicals because I don't know how I'm going to get through the first set that is pediatrics and they told me on they are overnight. I need to relax because I know it always works out somehow!

Congratulations to everyone! If you did not get in, retake a course. It's been a long road getting here and I am so thankful!

I tried to send a pm, but they wouldn't let me. But I applied last year so most of my stuff is done, I think all I need to do is get cpr certified. What about you?
