Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

I also got in!

@Amberly: I also have an application in at UTHSC-Houston. I will be finding out about that in mid October. If I get into that program, then you might be able to have my spot, so don't give up. There could be (most likely are) others in my situation!

There are guys in the current ADN class, and there are 4 guys in the current LVN class. Regardless, you're not treated differently while in class or in clinical settings with patients; least not in my experience.

same here I can't wait to see who all I will be going to school with for the next 2 years!!! I will most likely be attending the October 10 orientation, anyone else attending that date for kingwood? also have u turned in your intent to enroll form yet....I was going to fax mine tomorrow

No I have not sent mine yet..... I will most likely try to fax it this weekend as well. Trying to find a place to get the CPR cert. and I will be going to the one on the 8th.

I was ACCEPTED as an alternate,but gonna do all requirements incase a spot becomes available!! Congratulations everyone accepted and alternates. We were close amberly!!! I just have to do imtent paper two both campuses,physical,blue card, background, finger printing!! Oh yea and attend both orientations!! I been on the border from get go!! From my hesi with a power outage, to taking a back up instuctor for A&p retake to getting a 89 one point from my A to equal my 11.33 score points and now an alternate spot !!! I'D be a fool not to pursue my alternate spot!!! =) !!

That's the best thing to do is be prepared my co-worker had to give up her spot last year so I think it happens more than we think, hope to see you there with the rest of the cy-fair applicants
