lonestar nursing 2014 hopeful

Published

Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

So I never heard anything from cyfair Friday. I got accepted into kingwood but am wondering why I wasn't notified about denial, acceptance, or alternate this past Friday :/

Was Kingwood your first choice?

No cyfair was bc it's closer, but ill drive to kingwood bc I'm not passing up an acceptance!

I have everything done except CPR and uploading my medical stuff. I was an alternate at the woodlands in May. I am curious as to which CPR we need.

What was your score?

Tlm you neef the bsl one

okay I have a few questions.......I have my immunizations just about complete except one.....what about the titers? Do I need to get blood work done as well? Also any suggestions on the health insurance or do we have some time for that one? If anyone knows that would be awesome.....

Denial letters typically get sent a little later from what I've heard. It's okay though you're in at least one of the programs! Sigh, I have to get all my immunizations redone; anyone in the same boat?

So apparently since i was accepted into kingwood my application for cyfair was no longer considered......oh well thats strange but ok. And also does anyone know if you are able to transfer campuses once you've started the program???

I don't know about the insurance thing. I was going to call them later today and find out. Hopefully someone else on here knows!

Congratulations to everyone that has been accepted! I know that we have all been on pins and needles waiting for letters! I was accepted as an alternate. Does anyone know how that works (I know we are able to take someones slot if it doesn't work out) but my question is.. how often does that happen?
