Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54
Hi everyone my names Alexa, I just received my acceptance letter to the Kingwood nursing program this morning! It was my first choice, so I'm pretty happy with that! I'm SO excited but so nervous all at the same time. Does anyone know which CPR class we have to take, ik it has to be for health care professionals but the American Heart Association offers 3 (BLS for Healthcare Providers, ACLS, or PALS). Also, does anyone know anything about RNSG 1105? What is it and does anyone know how long it takes?? I'm looking forward to meeting you all at orientation! :)
nice to meet you Alexa, my name is Jennifer. I have read the attachments over and over that they sent with the acceptance letters but none of the information was being processed in my head( just been too excited I guess). They said we need to be at the college on oct 8 or 10 for something and it's mandatory. It did not say what it was however. hmmmm..... I need to take my cpr class as well and have no idea where to go. RNSG 1105 I think is pharmacology
Hi everyone! Just wanted to offer some info on the AHA BLS (CPR) for Healthcare Provider's, that's needed for the program - I did it last week (more so just to have it because I've been trying to get a job at a hospital), but it works out well since I'll need it for the program, too! Idk where you guys are located, but I used: Across TX CPR, 1000 FM 1960 W., Suite 215, 77090. But I believe they have different locations. The number is 972-740-1720. It's only $35.00 (its more at some places) and I got in QUICK! I called on a Thursday and took my class the next day.
