Does Kingwood allow laptops and tablets in the classroom? Ya know I wish they would give us a little bit more information....That first meeting we had was really hard to follow....There was just a whole lot going on that morning

In previous semesters at Kingwood tablets were allowed. Last semester I heard people with laptops were asked to sit at the back because people complained when they sat up front.

I went to the bookstore already this morning and I could not get my books because my financial aid book money is apparently being sent to my bank account. I mentioned before that I messed up those book advance forms and sent both of them. So I probably won't get any of my books now till Wednesday or Thursday depending on when the money hits the bank.

Hello there, I am in the same boat as you. I went to kingwood college and I was told the same thing. I have to wait until Wednesday or Thursday

I am very confused about the additional items that we need to buy. According to the paper received at the fist meeting, we need a penlight, hemostat, etc... The book store sales a lab kit. Is that something that we need or not. If someone knows, I will appreciate your help.

My financial aid appeal was denied. 

Mine was too, but you can appeal the appeal... The last step in the process. Don't give up. I know it is frustrating, but we need to do all that we can do. Call the FA dept. and ask for the forms for to Request for Appeal Committee-Final Review. I have them, and was told that I have to return the paperwork by this Thursday.

The lab kit will contain those items you listed and more above. At least NH lab kit included those items.
