Hi, just wanted to start a post about my process of applying at lonestar. Hope to hear from other applicants! I have just taken my HESI and will be applying for the spring semester with a score of 11.54

Man that sucks I'm sorry. Have you been getting financial aid from the school before this up coming semester? And how many hours over are you if you don't mind me asking?

They said that they used to allow it but too many people abused the rules and would be on Facebook or other sites while in class, so those people ruined it for everyone else.[/quote'] And that should be on the single student who abused it; if he or she wants to space out during lecture and Facebook, then the whole class should not be penalized. If said student is being disruptive, the solution is simple, ask them to leave. I've noticed CyFair takes a weak approach to this, presumably because they want to avoid conflict, however, a passive approach is not the answer, college is professional education with adults, thus students must be treated as such. What I'm trying to say is the ruling is f*cking stupid.

Did you get the bundle from kingwoods book store?, also does the bundle comes with all the book we need for the first semester?. For some reason when I go on my lonestar account the only books I can see are the pharmacology books they requested for the courses, but the books for the other courses aren't there. Do you have the list and the isbn numbers?

So we won't need black scrubs until second semester for Cy-Fair, correct?

Yes, I purchased at kingwood bookstore. All books but one were in the pack. Had to pay for that one separate. Emailed the lady that was orientation about the nclex prepu not being in there and she said the faculty will give us the website and discount, but I told her it says on the list that it is included in the package but she has not responded back.

yea I think mine changed as well....Okay so if a book is missing from the package than do they have it available separate? Also isn't there one more book to buy along with the bundle.

May. Yes I got the bundle from kingwood bookstore. It includes all books but the Wong book. I will message you the list.

Thanks lkm84 for the good info. I have several pairs of black scrub bottoms so I was just inquiring to see if I could pair them with a plain solid purple or green top, that way I can get more out of what I already have. I appreciate the heads up on the classes as well! What semester are you approaching now or have you completed the program?

Okay so I get the bundle and the Wong book separate....We need a drug book guide for 2014 and then I need 2 books for pharmacology is that right anyone from Kingwood
