Lonestar Fall 2013 hopefuls

Hi everyone!

I just submitted my application for the Fall 2013 Lonestar College basic track ADN program. LSC-Montgomery is my first choice, followed by LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball.

I applied with an 11.81. Has anyone else out there applied, or are you preparing to apply?

Looking forward to starting a supportive and informative Lonestar thread, as applicants have the past few years

Our deadline was June 23rd I believe but I talked with the director because I wasnt able to upload my hep b shot until July 9th and she said as long as everything was uploaded a week before we started our summer class we were fine. So I dont know how much weeding is going to be happening.

NH today is the last day to complete certified background & turn in your schedule picks. I hope you are all ready!! I feel we are getting so much closer to starting. I'm excited... I'm nervous... That is all. Lol

My first pick was Saturday clinical, so I can get comfortable in my new job also.

I am a bit anxious, too. I have checked my email several times already today. We should, hopefully, hear something soon since the deadline for turning in documents for NH has passed.

How exciting! So it is my understanding that we can wear any color scrubs to our labs for first semester correct? I don't know what color to get!

Yea, I'm really excited, that's the time slot I wanted also. And yes, we can wear any color of scrubs to lab. Did you get a rubella titer yet? I still have to do that.

Just emailed the lady at NH to ask when fall classes would be assigned to us. She sent out an email about lab kits but i cant use my financial aid until i am registered for class to get books or lab kit. (never gotten loans before so i was a little confused on how all this works)

I was just about to send her an email asking the same thing. I am constantly checking for email saying we've been registered.

Did you also get the email about documents on certified profile? I first thought it was meant for me alone, but I think it is just a general one that was sent to everybody.
