I didn't see a thread on here for Fall 2011 applicants to the Lonestar nursing program, so I decided to start one.:) I will be applying to Montgomery as my first choice and am really nervous about taking the HESI test with all of the added components. I applied to Kingwood this past application period with an 11.5652 and got an alternate spot, competition was fierce. So, here I go again, hopefully I'll get in this time around. I'm really nervous about the A&P portion of the HESI. I feel like I've forgotten alot of what I learned. Any suggestions from anyone?
Good luck to all applying:)
Sarabeth249- You are going to nursing school in the Fall.
You will definitely be in with the score you have. Accept it. Start planning for it, get your mind wrapped around it, it's going to happen. Check the fall 2010 and spring 2011 threads for lonestar. Your score is better than most of those accepted. Cyfair has the highest acceptance score and you still meet it.
Congratualations!
Has anyone else noticed that on the online application when you look at your score sheet in the "official points" column, it only goes to the 1st decimal point in column 1. But in column 3 with your HESI score, it goes to the 4th decimal place. I am so bummed about that, because it lowers my overall score form 11.4221 down to 11.3553:( I only have B's in A&P so my total points are 11 not 12 giving me a 3.666, but they're cutting it off at 3.6. It just doesn't make sense to me, to go to the 3rd or 4th decimal place in 1 column and only the 1st in another.
Ok, I just took my Hesi and am very dissappointed in myself. Alot of the stuff on the A&P part is from A&P 1, and the math well it was my own fault for not studying the math so much...alot of proportion to ratio questions.
I got a 71.65% on the Cumulative score
I guess this means I have to retake it, my question is how long do I have to wait before I retake the Hesi exam? Anyone know?
