Lonestar 2011 ADN Hopefuls

I didn't see a thread on here for Fall 2011 applicants to the Lonestar nursing program, so I decided to start one.:) I will be applying to Montgomery as my first choice and am really nervous about taking the HESI test with all of the added components. I applied to Kingwood this past application period with an 11.5652 and got an alternate spot, competition was fierce. So, here I go again, hopefully I'll get in this time around. I'm really nervous about the A&P portion of the HESI. I feel like I've forgotten alot of what I learned. Any suggestions from anyone?

Hi everyone, Im new to allnurses and aboslutely love it. Im trying to figure out what the cut-off points were for all the colleges. I plan to apply for the spring semester and I have 11.53. My first choice will be cyfair. Anyone with any info... did anyone with 11.53 or bellow get accepted to cyfair?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone found a place to do their physical at a reasonable cost? I read through old threads and saw that someone did their physical at a chiropractor's office for an inexpensive amount, but I think Lonestar changed their paperwork since then! Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. :)

I got my physical at a clinic called Central Care Community Health Center. The cost was 30 dollars. It is near George R Brown Convention Center and Minute Maid Park. It is off of Elgin and Delano. I have also gotten most of my shots there for less than any other place I have found. Hope this helps!

Can't wait to meet everyone I will be suffering with for the next 2 years! Congrats to all of those that were accepted into the program at every campus!

you can try motherland inc, it's in the heights and they have reasonable fees for the majority of vaccs and exams you will need.
