I didn't see a thread on here for Fall 2011 applicants to the Lonestar nursing program, so I decided to start one.:) I will be applying to Montgomery as my first choice and am really nervous about taking the HESI test with all of the added components. I applied to Kingwood this past application period with an 11.5652 and got an alternate spot, competition was fierce. So, here I go again, hopefully I'll get in this time around. I'm really nervous about the A&P portion of the HESI. I feel like I've forgotten alot of what I learned. Any suggestions from anyone?
Good luck to all applying:)

Congrats to all of those who have been accepted to the Lone Star Nursing Program! I am currently a Nursing student at North Harris and plan to graduate May 2012. I remember coming to this website before I got accepted and remember being as nevous as most of you are. This journey has been tough... do-able, but VERY tough. I just wanted to say enjoy your summer and your freedom now because that will be out the window come August. :) I will be attending Camp Wanna Win, which I recommend to EVERYONE to come who has been accepted to NH. I am not sure on the dates yet, but I know it will be one or two day the week before school starts and it will be a lot of fun! If anyone has any questions let me know, i will try to answer them.

Hi thanks for the encouragement and congrats for being so close to graduation. I'm sure that feels amazing!
I have a question. I don't know which campus you're at but I have friend that works at Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands & she said some if the students from NH are doing a fast track program to graduate in 18 months & that it is only offered at NH. I have not head about this before. I know you can take classes through the summer and receive your LVN license at the end, but have heard those classes are only for about 30 students. Do you know anything about the fast track? Or if there is such a thing?
And yes, I definitely plan on going to camp Wanna Win. It sounds like so much fun!!

Karron,
Is she helpful with the material? I read online that she isn't.
I wanted to take pharmacology during the summer mini course and she is one of the instructors.
