Lonestar 2011 ADN Hopefuls

Published

I didn't see a thread on here for Fall 2011 applicants to the Lonestar nursing program, so I decided to start one.:) I will be applying to Montgomery as my first choice and am really nervous about taking the HESI test with all of the added components. I applied to Kingwood this past application period with an 11.5652 and got an alternate spot, competition was fierce. So, here I go again, hopefully I'll get in this time around. I'm really nervous about the A&P portion of the HESI. I feel like I've forgotten alot of what I learned. Any suggestions from anyone?

Good luck to all applying:)

oh. i was just wondering.lol.

did i get it right?

You're Correct!Mucous membrane line the stomach while serous membrane line the abdominalpelvic cavity also known as peritoneal membrane. You need to know the difference between mucous membrane and serous membrane. You are free to contest the answer.

Oh...

A. pleural membrane is more for the lungs...not stomach

D. pericardia is for the heart not stomach

C. At first i thought it was peritoneal...but i thought..that peritoneal lines the abnominal cavity..not just the stomach.

So..I chose B. mucous membrane..since the stomach is lined with the mucosa...
