Luckily, my daughter's school schedule meshes nicely with the morning schedule. I need to find a good "emergency sitter" however.

My friend is in the Cy-Fair program this semester and this is what she told me:

Schedule? M-W is 9:00-11:30 or 12:30-3:00 and F 8:00-12:00 or 12:30-4:30. The Friday class (Intro) is only an 8 week class and it's a hybrid, so we don't meet but 3 or 4 times. And don't let that fool you, we have four projects and two exams in that class alone. Once that's over we have a four week legal & ethics class online.

Hey everyone,

I applied to Cyfair nursing school and Im getting nervous because the acceptance letters hopefully will arrive within two weeks!!! I have a score of 11.612 points, and I hope that is good enough because I really want to be a nurse soooo bad. I originally thought I had around 11.4 points, but when I went to the campus and actually applied I found out that I had an 11.612!!!. It was horrible going through the application process. I had issues getting my transcript to Cyfair, as well as getting my hessi scores sent. Cyfair would not take my math, so like 2 days before the application deadline I had to take the accuplacer test to comp out of math. I was so relieved when it was finally over and I had my application turned in. I started one month ahead and I was finally able to turn in the application on Sept. 6th (it was so stressful). Im getting nervous because I am going to have to start looking for places to rent in a couple of months because I am moving form Austin. I am in a CNA course right now, so I can be certified and hopefully get a part time job around the Houston area. I just want to say good luck to everyone and hopefully we will all be in nursing school together!!!

Hi everyone, I applied for the Spring '11 nursing program at Cyfair (1st choice) and Kingwood (2nd choice) with an 11.826. I am anxiously checking the mailbox everyday. I am pretty nervous about this whole thing. :uhoh3: I hope we all get in so we can meet in person. I have been reading all of the posts from everyone and finally decided to make my name and score known. Good luck to you all and please post when you get your letters so at least we know they are on the way and in the mail.

i think your score is great and you have an excellent chance of getting in. you should be proud of yourself!!! what a scary predicament; it's all behind you now and you and everyone here have done all that can be done for this app period. best of luck and i also look forward to meeting everyone! can't wait to start, this new and exciting chapter of life!:d:d

I just read on CyFair's site that their Acceptance/Denial letters will be mailed out on September 24. I hope this means Kingwood's will be about the same. Good luck everyone. We're getting sooo close to finding out. :yeah:

OMG! That's tommorrow! That means people will start getting their letters as early as Sat. I cant believe

WOW- I wasn't expecting anything for at least 2 more weeks! I'm so excited to find out, the waiting will be over soon- hope to hear about everybody's acceptances!

I sure wish the KW website would have some news like that! I wonder if KW will be starting tomorrow as well?? Anyone want to volunteer to call/email up there and ask??! :lol2:

Anyone who gets a letter, maybe write your score and when you got your letter??

HOLY CRAP!!!! Are you serious!?!?!? That's tomorrow!! WAY earlier than I was expecting. Guess it's time to start checking my mail.

Ugh!!! So, I just called Kingwood and they told me they would be mailing letters out within the next 2 weeks. I guess us Kingwood hopefuls will be waiting awhile longer. I was so hoping they would be on the same schedule as CyFair. :crying2:
