From reading everyone that got into Lone Star nursing programs I hypothesized one very important point. Correct me if I'm wrong but if you get anything less than A's in English and A&P there is NO chance of admission.
The only instance I calculated a chance is a "B" in English, an "A" in A&P and a perfect 100% on the HESI. Other than that, A's in your classes with a minimum 88% on the exam is my observed formula for entrance.
I see why so many (myself included) get so worked up about the HESI. Anyone else taking the test next week at a Lone Star?
If anyone has taken A&P at a Lone Star over a summer session, how did you find attaining an A over the six-week period? Also, if anyone wants to part with a lab book...(?)

Hi everyone! I’m planning to apply for the FALL 2020 but I’m trying to see if you guys can help me regarding more infos on the Hep B series. I was told that I have to complete all the shots and get my blood drawn and submit all of those paperwork/ result before I apply if not I would get rejected if I haven’t got them completed.
However I heard otherwise as well how I only need to get started on it and have completed them before the program starts.... I’m thinking of doing the fast track after I come back from the country on the 10th of February but I’m worried I won’t have enough time to get everything done and my blood drawn since it’s cutting so close to the deadline...

You have to have them completed, with bloodwork showing you are immune with a quantitive titer, meaning it can’t just say positive or negative. They will not accept you if the series has not been completed.

Do you think it’ll be possible for me to start on the series on February 10th and have bloodwork done showing I’m immune before the deadline? I got a 95.2 on the Hesi and A’s for both pre-req but I’m gonna be out of the country in a few days so I’m worried I won’t be able to apply for the FALL 2020 because of the series...

I have heard of the fast track but I’m not sure where they do it. Maybe try HEB or Walgreens or even like an urgent care!
