From reading everyone that got into Lone Star nursing programs I hypothesized one very important point. Correct me if I'm wrong but if you get anything less than A's in English and A&P there is NO chance of admission.
The only instance I calculated a chance is a "B" in English, an "A" in A&P and a perfect 100% on the HESI. Other than that, A's in your classes with a minimum 88% on the exam is my observed formula for entrance.
I see why so many (myself included) get so worked up about the HESI. Anyone else taking the test next week at a Lone Star?
If anyone has taken A&P at a Lone Star over a summer session, how did you find attaining an A over the six-week period? Also, if anyone wants to part with a lab book...(?)
No, I haven'y gotten anything in regards to orientation or boot camp. I only know of KW orientation because it is mandatory for alternates interested...even if you're considering Cy-Fair. KW is the only program that offers orientation to alternates. As for Cy-Fair, you must obtain acceptance in order to get information about orientation.

Did CF give you access to Castle Branch to upload your stuff? And you got the email from IdentoGo for the background check right? Thats weird why CF wouldn't make you go to orientation as well. CF is soooo different from all the other locations.
Yes, I have access to Castle Branch but I don't see where to upload my items correctly. I saw where you uploaded screenshots of how it's suppose to look a few posts ago but mine doesn't look like that. I got the fingerprints scheduled from IdentoGo and I completed that. Was the fingerprint portion the actual background check? Because I received my blue card in the mail. This is super confusing lol

Okay take picture of what your castlebranch looks like so I can see it. The fingerprint is your background check and you already got your blue card so that’s done! Your ssn verification is within castle branch. Everything else is within castle branch so once you upload a pic of what yours looks like I’ll be able to tell you more(:

@RNtobe @canickell11 I see what I did wrong. I only used one code, there is another code for CB to upload specific immunizations and documents! I’m about to purchase it now. Thanks for your help!

Thank you! Yes just stay on top of it. Are you getting the emails from the nursing director about the orientations and everything? I would assume they are for alternates too, just incase y'all do get accepted into the program last minute. I was chosen immediately for CyFair. If you are getting the emails for the bootcamp/orientation, I would still show up just to be on the safe side.
